In 1998, driven by a profound love for children and a deep conviction in the Montessori philosophy, Mrs. Vinith Samuel laid the foundation for what would become Ladybird Casa Dei Bambini Montessori formerly known as Brooks International Montessori.
Her vision was never to simply build a school. It was to create a sanctuary for childhood.
With an academic background in Psychology and certification from IMTC in association with Montessori Internationale, Netherlands, Mrs. Samuel brought both scientific understanding and heartfelt intuition to early education. For over three decades, she has practiced and championed authentic Montessori principles, establishing multiple schools and NGOs rooted in this transformative methodology.
At the core of her philosophy is the timeless Montessori principle of “following the child.” She believes that no child should be labeled, compared, or confined but rather observed, understood, and guided with respect. Each child, in her view, carries a distinct rhythm, strength, and potential waiting to unfold.
Her leadership extends beyond the classroom. At Ladybird, every member of the community from educators to support staff is aligned with the Montessori philosophy, ensuring consistency, dignity, and care in every interaction.
As both an educator and a mother, Mrs. Samuel embodies her enduring belief:
“Mother First, Teacher Next.”
Her guiding motto, “Celebrating childhood and the uniqueness of every child,” is not merely a statement it is the legacy upon which Ladybird continues to grow.
Ladybird stands today as more than an institution. It is a home thoughtfully built on experience, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to nurturing confident, compassionate individuals from their very first steps.
